• For visiting The Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica there is a STRICT DRES's CODE. Shoulders and knees MUST be covered. No shorts or sleeveless shirts. 

• Please be prepared to wait for 10-20 minutes due to the strict security check at the Vatican Entrances.  

• Infant under the age group of 0 to 6 years can enter the Vatican for FREE without any reservation 

• Please bring a valid document (ID where the date of birth is shown) for minors under the age group of  6 to 18 years to get reduced prices on the tickets 

• Under the age of 25 to get the reduced prices on the tickets, please bring a valid International Student  Identity Card and photo ID card(Where the date of birth is shown)

• Audio guides are available (if pre-booked) in Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Russian, and Portuguese. 

• Please note that opening hours and closures of the Vatican City may vary due to special events. 

• Access to the St. Peter’s Basilica and the St. Peter’s square may remain CLOSED ON WEDNESDAYS due to the Papal Audience. 

• Wheelchairs are available inside the Vatican City. Make sure you ask for one if needed at the information desk. 

• Please note that large bags/suitcases/backpacks are not permitted inside the Vatican City although cloakrooms are available at the museum entrance.
